Hi All,
To give you some idea of my set up, I have 3 server, 2 are domain controllers (servers A and B) and server C is a member server.
All servers have the netlogon share.. now what I've found is that if I copy a file into server A, it is not replicated to the others. If I copy a file onto server B then it just reaches server C and not A.. if I copy a file onto the netlogon of server C, once again it goes nowhere.
I have no idea what is happening here and there is no error in the logs! Anyone have any idea of what could be happening?
Thanks

Have you tried to look at the appropiate shares on each machine?

at the cmd box, type:

NET SHARE

you should see an entry like:

SYSVOL C:\WINNT\sysvol\sysvol Logon server share

on each of the machines.

If you don't you need to recreate the SYSVOL share. Can't remember how to do it! - Sorry! But look it up on

If I find the document I'll post it.

Cheers

Bert

Thanks Bert
I've had a look on all 3 servers and they all have both a NETLOGON and SYSVOL share.
Not sure what else it could be.. anyone have any other ideas what it could be?
Thanks

lengoo,

Why not look at these technet documents.

250545

They describe some diagnostic and rebuild solutions to your Domain SYSVOL.

It could be a goog idea to rebuild them.

Cheers
