When people are trying to print it keeps popping up with blue screen of death saying no space on server....., there;s a gig left on the drives tho...

I've cleared out as much space as i can but its still doing it.

Is there enough space left on the disk where the spool is located.
By default, this is \<winnt_root>\System32\Spool\Printers.
You can change it in the Print Server's properties on the tab "Advanced" or directly in the registry in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers where you must add a value DefaultSpoolDirectory (type REG-SZ) containing the path for the spool directory (or modify it if it already exists)then you'll have to restart the spool service or the server itself.
You have also the possibility to specify a spool directory for each printer in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\<printer>.
You might also have to remove manually the files *.spl and *.shd that remain in the spool directory after a crash.

ok basically, none of my exhange services will start now, and the event log says there is not enopugh space on the disk....there's just under a gig left, which is surely enough.

why would a server with space available think it has no space left??
