Server running NetShield 4.5 will not update DAT

Server is running NetShield 4.5.0
Engine 4.1.60
Current DAT 4.0.4246

This is the message I see in the application log on the server.

Unable to validate contents of the DAT files.
Please check if the new DAT files are of the 3.x.x series.

THe DAT's are updated via EPO console via share on network.

I have other servers that are updating fine.

I can't say I've ever seen that exact error message but we have also been having loads of problems with servers updating from a share on our network. NAI don't seem to have many answers on why certain clients will not update but yorus sounds like it may be a problem with the specific file you are using. What platform are your clients on? Have you tried using a different DAT or SDAT?

Thanks for the response, you where right. I cleared out some files in the share that did not look right. (some had 0 bytes). I made sure the right files where there, the servers started updating again.
