I have V480 running Solaris 9 and Netbackup 5.1.The server reboots itself many times during day.Has anyone have an idea what might be causing this problem?.Thanks
This is a new system with 9 recommended patch cluster applied.This system acts as the backup server.But since I stopped netbackup two days ago,there has not been any system panic and the server has not rebooted itself.I have not applied any specific netbackup 5.1 patches on this server.Could this be an issue of software compactibility?.
Have you got in the /etc/system already contains one of these entries? Use whichever value is larger for that setting. Before modifying /etc/system, use the sysdef command to view the current kernel parameters. Add the following lines to /etc/system and reboot for the settings to take effect. After rebooting the sysdef command should display the new settings:
