I have taken code from an existing site we have buitl with asp, and put on a new machine as a test site. It is a brand new machine, and when I try to launch the site, I receive an error as follows:
Server object ASP 0177 (0x800401F30 Invalid ProgID
and it references the follwoing line of code in my global.asa file,
set objdb = Server.CreateObject("OEPDB.DB")

It appears to be failing on the createobject function but I am not sure why. The code is identical to an exisitng server, setup is the same, so I am wondering if I failed to install something needed for this function to work.

Can anyone please help? I have researched this error, and most reference incorrectly spelled progId but I know that is not hte problem.

Thank you!!

there is a .dll file that needs to be registered / installed on the server...OEPDB.DB looks like it is some kind of DB access DLL file.

you will need to find it and copy it to the new server....
