Hi all

I have a customer with a BCM400 running 3.6 software. The system ahs been up and running with no problems for 3 years.
They currently are running with 32 digital phones, one PRI, 24 Voip trunks and Call Center Pro. I am trying to add about 30 IP phones (2004). The Ip client licenses are in (32)but I cant get more than 19 registered before getting (Server: No ports left). I deregistered all IP phones not being used. The BCM is running on a 2/6 split with two PEC's. I did a warm reset last night, did not try a cold one though.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Just a guess, but maybe you need to reallocate some of the resources to the IP phones. Example take some of the ports away from the the voicemail and swing them to the IP phones. Obviously, this causes some concern with the call center, but it could be an option.

Reallocate resources, 24 VoIP trunks and a Call Center are using them up. Go to a 3/5 split.

Thanks guys.
Am I going to have to reenter any programming after the split?

yes!! your DTM if its on bus 7 as you loose this..its ok to go from 2/6 to a 3/5 split and retain programing.

If you use bus 7 then you will have to use bus 6 and programme accordingly

It's no big deal. Unless your maxed, one would not use Bus 7 for the PRI and this one isn't. All programming will be retained, even though the pop-up will scare you, press OK.
