Server Manager - remove from Domain 1

I am removing a server from my one NT4 domain using server manager - question: why when I do this does it not immediately remove it in server manager and how can I speed up the process so it no longer lists the server in server manager?

It's been a long time so I may be a little fuzzy on this one. I believe you have to wait for the change to replicate from the PDC to all the BDCs. Also, look in your WINS server the records, should be tombstoned. You can manually delete these records if you wish. Make sure you delete them on each WINS server or the will re-appear during push pull.

Thanks Kenny - I was thinking this myself. Cant wait until we get this domain up on AD - Government networks, go figure
