Hi,

Just starting recently, when I logoff of my Citrix server, running on Server 2000, I get the End Program dialog telling me that Power Meter is hung up. When I open Control Panel, Power Meter is not there. I replaced the powercfg.cpl file with the copy from the service pack folder, but there was no change. This is very similar to this thread: thread96-922077. Does anybody have a clue what's going on?

Thanks,

Mike

Uninstall any UPS software and try again.

Start, Help. You'll be surprised what's there. A+/MCP/MCSE/MCDBA

I uninstalled the UPS software (Liebert Multilink) and nothing's changed. I still have the issue. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in Start, Help. I searched using several relevant terms and came up with nothing. Can I have more clues, please?

Thanks,

Mike

Geez... never mind. I had to reboot. I still need to install the UPS software, though. Any ideas on what's hanging it up?

Thanks,

Mike

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a JCE problem with expired certificate from IE - check your JCE directory to see what programs use the JCE components of the JavaRuntime. Dell Openmanage is one that uses these components. Uninstall these programs - then update your java runtime. Reinstall the programs if required. Reboot.

I also issues with browsing with internet explorer - so it may or may not be the same issue......
