Patching a Server Edition from 9.1.6 to 9.1.11 and after I transfer the ISO and select upgrade, I get the following message.

"You are attempting to downgrade the system. Downgrade is not supported and could corrupt the operating system. Do you want to continue?"

I'm not local to this system and it's concerning that it's seeing this patch as a "downgrade".

Is this normal?

Didn't get that on mine when doing the same step, which ISO are you uploading?

Double check that you are using the right version and not 9.0.11 or something like that.

Yeah it's weird, I'm trying to load the latest SP.

9.1.11.0.202

The iso should be named abe-9.1.1100-202_el6.iso

Did you get a critical patch from Avaya with a higher build number to fix an issue? If so you should contact Avaya again.

They do not have any Avaya maintenance. They recently went from 4 standalone IPOs in SCN to a Server Edition with IP500 gateways.. 9.1.6 was the current release at the time of the upgrade, and we are trying to fix what seems like a bug, which is the reason for the upgrade to SP11.

The issue is, they have members of a group taking calls, and for whatever reason, some users will stop receiving calls to the group, even though they are available. Rebooting the IPO seems to be the only thing that makes them "available" again.
