I'm running Arcserve 2000 with an exabyte 210 (10 slot)library. The library & server crashed over the weekend and now the drives show up in the configuration, but no slots show up for the library. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!

You can try stopping and starting the tape engine again. But it typically takes a reboot for my slots to show up again once they disappear. You might want to cycle the tape drive prior to your reboot of the server.

Good luck,
Debi

First of all, you need SP4 and then the tape engine fix off CA web site, it should then see all the media again.

Thank you Debi & Wolf! I tried stopping the tape engine and recycling the library power and rebooting the server, and it still did nothing. I applied SP4 which did nothing. I tried uncompressing the tape engine fix and cazipxp was unable to open the files during extraction. I will try the tape engine fix if I can get it to extract otherwise I think I may have a hardware issue with the library. I used a prior fix from Arcserve to delete all devices (slots) from the registry and rerun the library config under autoconfig. When I do that I get "library not ready" error for the autoconfig. Thanks for your input!
