Server/Client IP Address Changed

I had to change the IP address on my network including my sms server and all my clients. I am now unable to remote control the clients or access the client properties. The server attempts to access the client with the new IP address. The clients will also not show up as having a valid site through the SMS control panel.

Has anyone successfully changed all their network IP addresses and can offer some assistance? I really don't want to build a new site and uninstall/re-install the clients unless absolutley necessary.

You'll want to force a harware inventory of the client computers so the IP address gets updated in the SMS database. Also, I've seen issues when the WINS database has not been updated quick enough. Rod Trent
