I have a internet ISDN router, and server 2000 installed as stand alone server. It seems that the server make a internet connection every 10 minutes. I cant figure out what's happening, and I am getting monster phone bills now.
Anyone got a suggestion??

Thanks

i need drivers to modem ISDN intracom netmod to operative system windows 2000 server...

I got the same and did some sniffering - it seems that it's a DNS request (port 53) of a LDAP request and that must be te active directory synchronisation. In the sniffertrace you'll find the First_domain_site_name - that's the default of the first AD site.

I tried to switch all syncing off (with administrative tools/active directory trusts & sites) but whatever I do - it keeps sending out this bloody request...I did not have more to nvestigate but it has to do something with this AD synchronisation...

Good luck!

Milko
