We have one NT 4 server in house that if we try to ping a bad host name like Crapola.dell.com for example it automatically attaches our domain name to the end of it and resolves it to a server we have at a remote ISP. None of the other servers do this. They all say bad IP address. If we ping a good name like it resolves fine to the correct ip. Im not sure why this is happening or where this external resoultion is coming from. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Your server, do you have it configured as a Domain controller or and a stand-alone? You are not giving any type of configuration settings. I think anyone will need to know some configuration settings in order to help you with this issue.
