I have Windows server 2012 running as a virtual machine on VMWare. I have installed IIS and IIS management tools ready to install VM pro for UMS and Campaigns.
I have rebooted the server after installing IIS and it says I have IIS on the Windows dashboard.
However, when I go to install VM Pro and select the Web and campaigns components it says it cannot detect IIS and asks me to abort the installation.
Seems like I'm between a rock and a hard place!
IP Office and VM Pro at 9.1.4
Anyone got any ideas?

Technolgy - The Mother of Frustration

I think VMPro checks the registry to see if IIS and its subcomponents are installed.
Read this and check if those keys are there and if they are not then IIS is not recognized, create the registry keys.
If they are there then the VMPro installer has no sufficient rights to read the registry keys, run it as local administrator.

Thanks Intrigrant. I took the machine back to having nothing on it using the VMWare snapshot. then re-installed everything again with regard to IIS etc. I think I may have missed .Net 3.5 originally. Reconfigured the server with all the required detail and now VM Pro has installed.
