Server 2008 and MS Office 2000

I have built a server 2008 box as a trial term server and need to load office 2000 on it to run access DB. I have used the resource toolkit to biuld a custom instll MST file but it still want start the install when I run the commmand line script. Should I have loaded it prior to installing the term server portion?

Applications that will be used by terminal services users should always be installed AFTER terminal services is installed.

That is what I was going by but it comes up and says some features will not work on a term server and all I need on there is Access 2000 not the entire suite. I used the custom install utility and removed everything but Access from the install pack. At still fails to launch setup.

Without looking up the compatibility info, I'd bet Access 2000 isn't compatible with Server 2008.

I removed the term services and installed the access software then started them back up with good results. Installed Office 2007 after that and everyting running fine. thanks for the info and help.

So you have an unsupported/unsupportable installation.

And even if Access 2000 was supported, I'm sure it would only be supported when installed AFTER terminal services was configured if the intent is for TS users to use Access.
