I have a server running 2003. I will be installing virtual PC and will run 4 virtual PCs from the server. On that same server, I will be installing software to monitor our production out on the floor. I'll also have 4 large TVs as displays connected with VGA cables to the server. The server will have 2 dual video cards installed.

How do I split the video signal to each of the TVs?

Thanks

Is that a Virtual PC question or a hardware question?

The answer to your question is either "you run a cable from each graphics card port to each TV" or "you configure your graphics card driver for multiple desktops and drag each virtual PC's window to a different screen".

I'm not sure what this falls under, virtual PC or hardware.

I will be running 4 VGA cables from the video cards to the TVs. What I don't understand is how to display the data on the TVs. Each one will have different data.

Thanks

Ah, OK. The Video Issues forum might be a better place to ask this, but all you need to do is configure Windows to use multiple desktops.

Your graphics card driver software should have a setting for this with multiple options, such as showing the same display on each monitor, treating them all as one super-wide side-by-side display, treating them all as one super-tall one-on-top-of-the-other display and so on. You want to pick an option that lets you display different things on each monitor, then you can drag your Virtual PC windows wherever you like. You could have one running full-screen on each monitor.

Thank you for your help. I will post this in the video section as well.

Thanks again
