Server 2003 R2 member server getting DFSR error messages. 1

I have a Windows 2003 domain with two Server 2003 standard and one Applience server. One of the Server 2003 is the domain controller and the other the Exchange server. I added a Windows 2003 R2 member server to the domain and am now receiving event id 6012 and 1202 from DFSR. The errors say to run adprep. This server is not a domain controller and will not need Active Directory. What should I do?

It turns out the schema has to be updated if you use some new features of R2, even if it is not a domain controller. See the link PorkchopExpress posted in thread931-1280533
