Hello all!

I am in the process of an application upgrade on one of our
many application Servers.

I would like suggestions on the types of file bakups i could
perform on the server for a quick recovery for the system critical files.

In NT4 i would only backup " \System32 ",
" \System32\Config " and the application directory.

Advanced Server 2000 is a whole new ball game.

Thanks in Advance.

You might want to consider trying our system recovery cards. They are a PCI card that installs in the server or workstation and will protect specific designated partitions from corruption. If you ever need to restore the protected partition, you just reboot the computer into restore mode (controlled by the card)put in the admin password and it's restored.

It works well on application servers and any server partition that does not store data that is constantly changing.

You can find out more about them at
