Serial cabling > 50ft for POS printer 2

I have 2 serial POS printers that I need to install in a kitchen. The distance from the PC to the printer is > 50ft. What is the best way of getting them connected. The PC has 2 DB9 serial ports and the printers have DB25 ports.

You might luck out at greater than 50 feet. Some driver/receiver combinations have worked at 200 feet with small wire and slower speeds.
What kind of handshaking are you forced to use? Should be in the manuals.
Using xon-xoff would probably 2-3-5 on the 9 to 2-3-7 on the 25. But it depends on the printer. Could be 2-3-5 to 3-2-7. On the 9 pin 3 would be tx.

Thanks for your quick response
According to the manual I have the choice of XON/XOFF or DTR/DSR.
It appears perhaps I can use ethernet cabling to get the range I need. Would this work?

These adapters at this link are pretty much industry standard for pos systems. You pin each adapter so that when connected with a standard network cable they create a null modem cable. Switch settings for the printer are dependent on the software and drivers that are being used. There is a POS forum here on tek tips that you can get more info on this.

Oh yea, I have not had a distance issue yet with serial over ethernet cable. And I have done some hefty runs over 200ft.
