I recently purchased a serial ATA add-on card (Titan Silicon Sil3112 SATARaid controller). My mobo is a Giga-byte GA7-N400L.

Before I got the add-on card, everything worked fine but since I've installed it my Network card (incoporated into the Nvidia chipset) doesn't want to work. In the device manager it says that there is not enough free resources.

I've tried changing the PCI slot and updating drivers but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

remove the nic card from device manager and see if windows will discover it again and assign new resources.

the sata card might need a interrupt for its own (no irq sharing). if you dont need the onboard ide (pri./sec) disable one/them in bios, so you get a free irq (14/15) and set the sata to that.

Hey thanks guys, I tried disabling the onboard pri ide and removing the Nic from device manager but nothing worked. Then I tried going back to older BIOS updates which seems to fix the problem. Thanks for you help.
