Hello,

I have an issue with something in a sequential call , i'm using IP Office 500v2 6.1 with embedded voicemail

the process is like this : a call comes on the analog trunk 1 , its reach an auto-attendant , if they press 1 goes to extension 100 , if they press 2 goes to extension 100 , if they dont press any thing goes to extension 100 , after that , if the extension 100 dont answer , its goes to 101 , then if no answer goes to 102 - 103 - 104 and its disconnect .

i have done this config , setup the 1 and 2 breakout of the AA to a group contain the user sequential, on ICR it goes to the AA then a fallback extension a group that contain the sequential of the call , with 15 sec no answer time , but when i test the call doesnt stops never , because it already hangup with AA, i tried another logic , that i point to the 100 on ICR with the fallback extension 100 , and on the user 100 i set no answer forwarding 101 , and on the 101 i setup forwarding no answer 102 etc.. but its stops on the second user and still ringing there and doesnt pass to the next user . is there any suggestions about this ?

It all needs to stay with the main group.
You need to set it up like this:

Remember your training and you will make it back alive!

Or just a single sequential group with the users entered in the order you want them to ring and a 15 sec no answer time.

holdmusic34, i did tried it , and there is what happen : the call present to the AA , then i press 1 on my mobile and the call goes to 100 , its rings 15 sec then its goes to 101 , its rings 15 sec then its goes to 102 (last member in the group) , its rings 15 sec then the call return to 100 (first member on the group )

that's the issue , i dont want it to return to the first member on the group , i want it to disconnect if the last member doesnt answer the call

Why would you want it to disconnect that is just going to piss off callers.

Pepp77 , i did that and nothing happen , still returing to the first member for non stop lap

It will always go round the group until the voicemail timer kicks in and without voicemail it means it will just continue to go round the users. With VM Pro you could have the voicemail point to a disconnect to achieve what you want, but never tried to achieve the same with embedded voicemail.

Just throwing this out as can't test as do not have an embedded system in house.

Create a shortcode

200 Barred .

Create a user that is set to forward unconditionally (including hunt group and internal calls) to the above shortcode.

Create the group as normal and make the final user in the group the new one you just created that is forwarding to the shortcode.

Make a test call and see if it then disconnects at the end or ignores the final user.

so in my case there is no solution ?

Yes tell your customer to stop being idiots

As Pepp ha already said simply disconnecting callers is rude, even ruder than simply waiting until the caller disconnects, Another Rude solution I have seen some companies implement is routing the call to a message that says "we cannot answer your call at present, please call back later"

I can assure you that when i experience any of these things as a potential customer I will not ring back & take my business elsewhere unless all other options have bee exhausted.

Does your customer have so much business that they an afford to through customer away?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
