I use coreldraw 9 in my business, when I send a fountain fill to my sreenprinter he cannot separate the colors to make screens. They apparently do not come in as PMS colors or they come in as many different colors. Is there a way to make this easier to separate?

This is my first post, hope I'm in the right place

Thanks

Don't know about V9 but I have just put a fountain fill (2 colour) in a rectangle and that separated fine. How are they being sent to you printer, native Draw or some other format.

I've been sending as an eps and that seems to mess it up somehow. I sent to him in ai and he was able to make the separations. I will have to send all stuff to him in ai since he doesn't have corel.

Thanks for posting

EPS may have worked providing it was placed and not imported as editable, apparently Draw and Illustrator produce fountains in different ways, glad its sorted anyway.
