SendObject isn't available error

I was using access97 and windows 98 and my sendobject worked fine. Lightening hit my computer and fried it so I now have a new computer with windows XP and access97 but when I try to execute my sendobject command i get an error message saying SendObject isn't available. From what I read this can be caused by not having Outlook Express designated as the default email program but I checked and it is setup that way.

Anybody have any other ideas why this doesnt work anymore?

P.S. I want to use Outlook Express not Outlook

Can you list the code you are using? It may not help, but with out it, I can not guess at the problem.

the code I am using is just sendobject in a macro that gets executed from the "on click" event of a command btton

Have you found a solution to this issue? I have the same problem with mine. I have put some band-aids on it and it seems to be ok now. I first upgraded Access 2000 to Access 2002. That worked fine for about 7 days. After that I got sendobject errors today. I repaired the office installation and ran the macro and it worked.

I havent found a soluton yet. I have reinstalled Office but still get the problem. I am using Office97.
