I am having a problem with creating a macro that will "SendObject", in any format, from both MS Access 2000 and MS Access 2007.

If I set it up in Access 2000 and select output to be "Microsoft Excel (*.XLS)" and run on 2007 I get error msg: The format in which you are attempting to output the current object is not available.

If I set it up in Access 2007 and select output to be "Excel 97 - Excel 2003 workbook (*.XLS) and run on 2000 I get the error msg: The formats that enable you to output data as a ..... are missing from the Windows Registry.

Do you have 2007 office sp2 installed? I was researching the issue of exporting a report to Excel, and I ran across something that said you had to have th sp2 of office 2007 installed to correct the issue. I just had the microsoft article up - but closed it - sorry I don't have the url for you.

Yes I do have SP2 installed. I just went ahead and made a report from the query and that seems to send by Outlook fine. Thanks.
