Sending txt files ( configs) directly connected to console

What utility can I use to send config files to a ASN or BCN
while connected to the console port.I use hypertem it send the txt config info to fast and the router reports
invalid config errors. I have used Tera Term Pro but I don't like it you can't customize its limited. Any sugestions.

Hyperterm will work, you need to use the rb option for receive binary. Such as xmodem -rb filename. Hope this helps.

If you text fill is flooding the device just go into the configuration of the Hyperterminal setup and alter the Ascii setup properties to insert a chareter delay of say 50 ms and a line delay of 700 ms. This should give the switch time to process the command before the next hits it.
