Hi can someone help,
I'm sending some artwork to my printers as a pdf file. I have created it in illustrator 10 and it has crop marks and a 3mm bleed. When the printer opens it he cannot see the crop marks or bleed. Aparently I have to get the separation setup dialogue box up and load a ppd, which I have done. It looks like if fits fine in the preview box but when I hit okay it says that the ppd of my printer and the general ppd in my software dont match and I might lose some of the image. I have an HP 6840 inkjet printer. I don't know what to do next. There must be a way of sending my artwork without my printer being an issue. Also there are 2 ppd files in my utilities file, which do I use.
Thanks
Lucy
