Does anyone know how to prevent the security messages that pop up when sending email from Access? The messages read:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

and

"A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?"

I believe Outlook is generating the messages, but I'm not sure how to stop them. Any help would be appreciated.

you can't stop it, it's a security patch from Microsoft that cannot be stopped programmatically.

I would suggest using SMTP with the Winsock Activex control. I posted this solution in thread705-459000.

Good luck! Anthony J. DeSalvo
