sending notification to cell phone

we have an s8500 with modular messaging 2.0. does anybody know how i can have some sort of notification message sent to a cell phone if the user is needing to be contacted if away from her desk? obviously i can do a zero out and have the cell phone ring, but the user doesnt want her phone ringing nonstop with people crying wolf.

instead of email, send it to the text address of the phone, if it were a verizon cell, 2125551234@vtext.com

ok how do you do a zero out to make the cell phone ring ????

in the "Backup Operator Mailbox" field, you type the phone number of the cell phone you want the call to go to. If your phone system requires a dial out number, you have to be sure to include that before the phone number. ie. 92125551234.

another thing that might work is outcalling from the vm server. This way she only gets notification on new vm messages.

how would i go about trying that, chuck14? i am using Modular Messaging 2.0. either i am blind or dont know where that setting is because i cant find it anywhere.
