Does anyone know what it takes to program a name service to be sent over PRI? We have a Telco local provider that allows our switch to send basically our DID numbers outbound over PRI service. The problem lies with the LEC. They claim due to records on the account that only the main billing number can be sent. Can we program the company name to go along with our DID's to the far end??

Thanks in advance!! :)

The IP Office can manipulate the number, the LEC is who attributes a name to that number. The LEC in this case may have records to only send the name when the main number is sent. That may have been how the account was originally established. In order to fix it, the lec has to program every DID number into their central office along with the company name in order for it to attach to each DID number. in any case, the IP Office cannot send out the name.
