Sending message to users in paradox

Is there a way of setting up and inter office messaging within paradox to send messages to a specific user and have them respond?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're better off setting up a private Jabber server with clients on each workstation.

Some companies actually use AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), however, that can be a security risk if company confidential info is sent to the AIM server and back to another user. If you have your own Jabber server, your confidential info never has to leave the company!

Since Jabber is a mature product, Someone Else has probably already thought of more features, bells and whistles that you possibly could... and likely if someone in your organization has a brilliant idea (like the boss), that feature is already in Jabber and you don't have to try to retrofit it into your design. If someone does come up with a new concept, Jabber is Open Source -- you can add the new feature for your own use and post it on the web for others to enjoy.

Remember, small internal projects don't like to stay that way!
