Hello,

In our email policy we have several domains. For example contoso.com & contose.fr. The user account has two email addresses, user@cotoso.com & user@contoso.fr If we want to send an email from contoso.fr (not the standard smtp address), added manual user@contoso.fr in the from field, we get an error:

You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.
MSEXCH:MSExchangeIS:/DC=loc/DC=contraste:BRUP04

does anyone know how we can resolve this?

Kind greetings

Is the email address veing added to the From field a valid secondary proxy address of the sending mailbox?

I have several smtp addresses in the ad email addresses tab.
one with SMTP with the mail account and all the other are on smtp.

Receiving on those other domains is not problem at all.

Do you have a DNS entry of MX record for the new domain pointing at your internal IP of your Exchange server?
