I have followed all instructions in Microsoft's Knowledge base website:
INF: How to Fax from Microsoft Access Using SendObject Command
Article ID: Q145787

If I run the process from my home computer using an internal modem it works, the same when I run it from my office computer with a modem and only the fax Transport enabled. Once connected to the LAN and the fax Transport and exchange server e-mail enabled I receive an e-mail in the inbox saying that the message was not sent because the e-mail address does not exist. If I go to the sent nessages box and resend the message it starts the fax sending process and dials the fax number.
Any Ideas???
Thanks

Sounds like Exchange is your first delivery service and when you resend it, it tries with Fax transport. If I'm right, you need to configure Outlook to try and send via Fax Tranport then Exchange. Exchange Accepts the message then tells you it can't send it, fax transport rejects stuff it doesn't understand and then Exchange will have a wack at it.

Thanks for answering. I tried setting Fax Transport as the first service (default) with the same result. Any other Idea?

Go to and search for fax... That site will probably have better instructions. You may need to reinstall the Fax transport Service. Also you might double check that the fax transport service saved as first in the list.

Other than that, best of luck. If you don't have any better luck, you might ask your exchange admin if they're running any fax software on Exchange. Additionally, you might try posting in an Outlook forum but try getting it to work manually without using sendobject to verify that it is an Outlook problem.
