I am looking to send a document created in word as an email (not an attachment).

The document will have fields that will be filled with fields from an Access database. (NOT SURE HOW TO APPROACH THIS).

The document is then email as thought sentto email had been selected from the file menu in word. (NOT SURE HOW TO APPROACH THIS).

I imagine I would need to create a document in word for the first part and this may be saved to disk so that the program may call the file when needed and fill in the appropriate fields.

I have thought about instantiating a word object so the process can be hidden from the user??

Hope someone can help Regards

I don't know if this is of any help, but you could easily do this from Access.

Create a report as a Snapshot that contains your data and text and then email it to your recipient(s).

Make sure that you create the report as a snapshot otherwise Access will bugger up the formatting.

Regards,

John

This may be useful John, but I am unsure as to how to create a snapshot of a report ?? Regards
