hello all, new to this forum. I have a problem hopefully someone can shed some light on. We have a client for whom we created an online shopping cart. Once the person places the order and checks out a confirmation email is sent. This worked fine until the client installed an exchange server. We built the cart in cold fusion. Can anyone guide me to the proper steps to have the email delivered to the client once the cart is filled out? Does it have to make a connection with the exchange server? and if so,how?

Sorry for the newbie questions...I appreciate all the help.

how is that email being deliver to your client before the xchange server was installed? just thru pop3 into a mail client?

When we first built the cart it was using the pop3 and smtp via cold fusion. The client wanted to install an exchange server to handle all the mail. This is separate from the website. How do you setup the exchange server to allow CF to relay through it? Thanks for all the help.
