Hi there,

I've got a form with a text field that contains an email address and would like to be able to double click on the address to open a blank email with the 'to' address set to the value of the field.

Having spent ages looking and trying DoCmd.SendObject with out success I thought I'd ask the group for any clues/hints as to what I should do.

Access 2000 and Outlook 2000 by the way.

Cheers

John

Thanks Mike,

It's been a longgggggg day and the thread you've pointed me to is just as long ;-)

I'll have a proper look at it in the morning.

Cheers

John,
Another easy way is just create a macro (SendObject) and have that open when you click on it. For your "To" field, just use "=[TextFieldName]". I found it alot quicker than typing in the code. And it works great for my app.

Thanks for the tip - I'm all for something that's easy and quick to implement ;-)

Cheers

John
