sending e-mail w/ Javascript

How does one send an e-mail using Javascript?

I have seen an example with a the SendMail object, but I don't know if this will work properly.

If any of you have done this before, please point me to the right direction.

If you are sending an email using a form on a webpage, you don't need javascript to send it, just put <form name=&quot;emailme&quot; action=&quot;mailto:youremail@wherever.com&quot;> [sig][/sig]
