On standard POTs lines, the name and number are stored in the LIDBE database, so the Magix has no control over what shows up on term end caller ID equipment.
If you're trying to control what name shows up with what DID, and you have a really good relationship with your lec/clec, you may be able to get them to customize the entry for you. Most oss systems default to the 'account name' on all numbers, but it is technically possible to have multiple names on an account, one per number.
It is called the "L I D B" database. That is an acronym for Line Information Database. If I recall correctly, it is maintained by Bellcore/Telcordia.
The name is added to the CID from the end office where the call terminates. The switch does a lookup in LIDB then adds it to the CID data stream, that in turn is sent to the subscriber between the 1st and 2nd ring on analogue lines. On PRI and BRI it is sent as part of the incoming call setup message on the D channel.
