Hi,
I am very new in SNMP design, I am HP UX system administrator.
trying to send SNMP Trap in HP UX

it is OK, the only problem it got the first local switch IP to send destination IP. So there is no control over which IP address I want to send .

is there any way to send any IP I want to send via SNMP ?
is there any way to find which version of SNMP I use in my Unix box ?

Regards.

there is no option to send like any ip. if you know the destination ip using the tools you can send snmp request or traps.
