I have an issue with the Send To->Mail recipient feature in XP SP2. She is using Outlook 2007 and has done so for quite some time now. However, all of a sudden, when she right-clicks and choses that option, absolutely nothing happens. No email window, no error, nothing. Any ideas? She is, however, able to insert a file manually into an email it works fine.
Thanks.

Make sure that Outlook is her default Email program in Tools>Internet Options>Programs

Outlook is her default program, and no she does not have google desktop.

It sounds like the registry entries for SEND TO are messed up in some way. Try running HELP | OFFICE DIAGNOSTICS and 'repairing' the installation.

From :

Click Start, Run and type:

[tab]regsvr32 sendmail.dll

Next, set your default email client. To set Outlook Express as your default mail client, type the following commands:

[tab]"%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /REG

[tab]regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll"

For other email clients, use the Internet Options applet in the Control Panel.
