Send Outlook message using VB

I am trying not to reinvent a wheel. I send a reminder notice to a third party every three weeks to bring in a particular off-site backup tape. Currently I just recreate the message and have it send at a particular time on a particular date via MSOutlook. I got to thinking that if I had a little script to create the very simple outlook mail message with a subject but no body, I could have the "Scheduled Tasks" application send it automatically for me. Has anyone previously created such a script?

you could use blat with a scheduled task.
