for the R9 provisioning... Trying to provision the one-x mobile but I am stuck..

who sends this message? vmpro? or the exchange that has to be setup to the one-x?

Good question. I enabled it for my user, but never got the email. Maybe it sees that I don't have one-x portal running or something.

If you route something to VMPro it will send it.
If not, what have you routed it to?

Kind regards

What do you mean route it to vmpro.
Checking the box "send mobility email" should send a message to the configured user when that is checked, and they have the proper user license. I tried it and got nothing, but then again I don't have one-x running.

I have the emails set in the voicemail tab and the box in the user tab. the email addresses target my exchange server which is not set on the One-X because I have exchange 2003....

I don't think that portion is necessary. It's just for "syncing" of status. VMPRO should be sending it. However, I'm guessing the IPO needs to be configured to send the emails (SMTP in system)...

Question was "who sends this message? Vmpro?"... I might have been sarcastic in tbe wrong language:)

Kind regards

my vmpro uses smtp not mapi so I am not sure if this matters.

I believe it uses the server entered into the SMTP tab of the System in Manager (the same server used for emailing event/alarms). I don't think it touches VMPro.

I agree with TexasBear because it is just a checkmark in the configuration and I tried it too with VMPro sending out quite nicely but no SMTP info in the phone system id did not do a thing. I was just too lazy to put the SMTP server info in the system and finish the testing.

Just confirmed... it has to be set in the SMTP tab on the IP Office... Because of this, everyone is getting 2 email replies for voicemail.. lol *sigh* I hope they fix this so it will work on either voicemails...

This is the way it is.
The IPO sends it and sends the username and password set for this user with it.
I did not test this on 9.0 yet and i wonder if you get 2 emails for this.
Can you explaon it a bit more?

BAZINGA!
