send messages

hello, i'm a beginner of tng ,how i can configure the event manager for send a banner message when a agent change his status and in the event consol appears the relative log's message? thank you.

HI

you nead to start with finding th messages you want to react on. Then you make a "message record" where the Message ID field contains your trigger.
Then select SAVE from the "FILE" menu.
You can now select the button "ACTION", this will create the avtions you want for this message.
In the TEXT field you type the message you want to apear on the screen, and if you select BANNER from the ACTION drop down menu.

For this you have to create a action on the message.
Best is to let go the services in fault. Then you will see what kind of messages enter the event console.

From that point you can create the action which cause the banner on your screen
