Send message to another user's screen?

Is it possible to send pop-up messages to another computer on a LAN using Windows XP Pro? I've been experimenting with the MSG command but could only send the message to my own screen.

At a command prompt type:

net send name of computer your message

EG: net send PC1 hello

Be advised, this will no longer work after SP2 is installed - unless you re-enable the Messenger service.
