send form values via email 1

Hello,
can someone tell me how to send form values via email by just clicking on the submit button, without opening an empty instance of the email client? Thank you,

you need to use a mailto program/script which is usually provided by the host. or there are free ones online. try formmail if you don't want to have to edit alot I may not get it the 1st or 2nd time,
but how sweet that 15th time can be.

Thanks onpnt - I'll check out 'formail' - can I keep my form design and just load my form onto the server to make this work?

form design or even the number of fields does not really effect the mailto's. You could have one or fifty and they will all be processed. When ever there if a form tag the value will be passed. All that will need to be changed upon finding a mailto prgram you want to use is the action in the form tag.
