Send Email From VB 5

Hi there,

id like to know how i could send an email from within a vb application. Ive been advised to use smtp. Any ideas?

VBSendMail has one problem.
You have three different types of autentication. I made an email app in which the autentication is automatic. You cannont loop the sendmail portion of your app expecting an autentication error for you to re set another autetication option till the mail is sent. When you get the first error you got to unload the dll and start a new sesion, the result is NO AUTO AUTENTICATION.
You can try OSSMTP dll where you got the same as VBSendMail and you can autoautenticate among other things.
