send current record to print

Hi
I am trying to send a record that appear within a form to print. I navigate to a given record within my form to send to print but the option on offer via the activeX controls is only to print the actual form which is obviously no good. I have set up a report but just need to work out how to send the current record to it.

I presume I need to do some coding to make this happen but am completely new to this so any help would be very gratefully received.

taking this one stage further how would the current record be sent as an email attachment in the form of a snapshot view?

DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "ReportName", acFormatHTML

is the method to send the report by email. see the help file quote below. You can't send it as snapshot. for more information search "sendobject" in the help file

The type of format you want used for the included object. You can select HTML (*.html), Microsoft Excel (*.xls), Microsoft Excel 5-7 (*.xls), Microsoft Excel 97-10 (*.xls), Text (*.txt), Rich Text Format (*.rtf), Microsoft Access Data Access Page (*.htm, *.html), or XML (*.xml) in the Output Format box. Modules can be sent only in text format. Data access pages can only be sent in HTML format. If you leave this argument blank, Access prompts you for the output format.
Note You can't include objects in Microsoft Active Server (*.asp) or Microsoft IIS (*.htx, *.idc) format, although these selections are displayed in the list.
