I want to program a button like send calls that I can push and forward the incomming call to another extension.

I don't want to use the call forward as I want to see who is calling me and decide to answer it or to push it off to another ext. with this button.

Anyone know if and how it could be done? I had it on an old Mitel system so I would think that Avaya could do it.

Do you currently use send-calls for something else. You can link coverage paths to do this. The 1st path would handle your busy no answer:

Coverage Path Number: 58
Hunt after Coverage? n
Next Path Number: Linkage

COVERAGE CRITERIA

Station/Group Status Inside Call Outside Call
Active? n n
Busy? y y
Don't Answer? y y Number of Rings: 2
All? n n
DND/SAC/Goto Cover? n n

COVERAGE POINTS

Terminate to Coverage Pts. with Bridged Appearances? n

Point1: h100 Point2: Point3:
Point4: Point5: Point6:

The 2nd would handle the calls you want to push to user 1234:

COVERAGE PATH

Coverage Path Number: 71
Hunt after Coverage? n
Next Path Number: Linkage

COVERAGE CRITERIA

Station/Group Status Inside Call Outside Call
Active? n n
Busy? n n
Don't Answer? n n Number of Rings: 2
All? n n
DND/SAC/Goto Cover? y y

COVERAGE POINTS

Terminate to Coverage Pts. with Bridged Appearances? n

Point1: 1234 Point2: Point3:
Point4: Point5: Point6:

Then add the cov path above 71 as the "next path number" on the 1st cov path 58. Now assign CP 58 to your phone. Your phone will roll into vmail when busy or no answer, yet roll to 1234 when "send calls" is pressed. You can add a Forward button to vmail which will allow you to retain the functionality of your send calls setup.

If you have enhanced coverage features enabled - then similar to what lopes1211 is saying. Assign yourself another coverage path which directs to the other number that you want it to go.

Then assign one of your buttons as an autodial with your feature access code to change coverage paths. And assign another button to turn it off after the call, so your normal coverage path is active.

I can provide further detail tomorrow when I'm in the office, but someone may know before I get in... This is just an option...

Hope this helps,
Chris

What do I put into the point1 section of the coverage path if I want to send them to a voicemail auto-attendant box?

If you're still inquiring. Put the number of the auto-attendant...

What about a coverage path set to do not disturb/sendcalls

The only problem with putting in the auto-attendant ext is that on the switch, it is an X port with it's own coverpath to forward into voicemail. The system will not allow a "double cover path" so when I put in the auto attendant box, it just rings and rings.

I need to figure out if there is a way to forward a call directly into a specific voicemail port without hitting the switch.

Have you tried to send it directly to an extension within the voicemail huntgroup?
