Selling application developed in Access

Hi , I want to create an application from an Access project I'm working on that I can sell. Has anyone here done this? Is it possible to do this with ACCESS or should I use possibly VB.net with an ACCESS backend? I need all the help you can give me. Thanks,Maggie

If you have Office Developer edition you can convert your database files into "stand-alone" versions without the need for the end-user to have MS Office. I have not try it, so I can not give any help with this. Anyway, this two links will help you:

With Office 2003 they have changed/discontinued Office Developers edition. They have also came out with Access Developer Extensions and clearly stated taht developers can package and deply Access 2003 applications including runtimes for royalty free distribution.
