self-service password management

Hello,

Looking at the instructions on the page you linked to in your post, it says:

"3. Configure the PasswordChangeFlags property in the metabase to make sure that the Password Change functionality is enabled.

Note: 0 = This value indicates that you must use a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection when you change the password."

So Yes, you need to run SSL. There might be another flag that can be set which sets it not to be run over SSL, but that is ofcourse less secure.

I already changed the passwordchangeflag to "1"(1 indicates that changing is allowed on nonsecure ports). Still no go.....

first, i received 'your administrator has blocked this page'. i removed asp extentions for the manage files list and now i get page cannot be displayed. i tried all combinations of paths and none will display.
