I am new to Crystal and having a problem entering a parameter field. When I select to ‘Set Default Values’ all the data in the selected table and field are not displayed in the list box. I have a customer list with 5000+ names, but only a couple hundred show in the selection list box. When I print the report without the customer selection I do get all customer names from the customer table. I am using Crystal 8.5. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

This is controlled by a registry setting. If you are comfortable editing your registry, search the registry for "MaxNBrowseValues" and change that key accordingly. Then you will be able to browse for all the records in your database.

Once caveat, this is not a dynamic list in 8.5. If you add a new customer tomorrow, the only way to get it on the list is to rebuild your default values. Dynamic parameter lists start in v11 of Crsytal.

Any work arounds for making the list dynamic. My compnay is using version 10 and they dont plan to upgrade in the near future. I was just wondering if anyone has been able to create a work around for this.

Thanks and any input!
